Dynamic Virtual Website
A Dynamic Virtual Web site would be a virtual site in the same way that
a Basic Virtual Website shares the same server with a number of other
sites.
However, a dynamic site would have a database as a backend to the site
which would provide the data to dynamically produce web pages dependent
on the user requests.
A typical type of Dynamic Website would be a car sales site. The database
would contain details of the various makes and models of vehicles currently
in stock. The user could search for specific vehicle types (such as 'BMW'
or 'Convertible'), and would then be presented with a list of vehicles
to match his search criteria.
A more complex Dynamic Website could be shop that offers a number of
products for sale, allowing the user to browse through the product range.
Facilities to purchase and pay for products could also be provided.
A Dynamic Website would also have some private page for the owner of
the site to use to administer and maintain the database.
